  1. Technology is not the main objective in each lesson. The goal or objective of the lesson should be met by the end of the session and technology is the teachers' tool to meet these objectives in the easiest, most interesting and interactive way.

    The variety of resources like using online books, games, videos,and online discussion will keep them engaged, interested.
    In my point of view the most important thing is to teach the children how to use this technology to benefit from it to the max, in my point of view, the most important thing is to teach the children how to use this technology to benefit from it to the max, teach them how to get the knowledge as fast as they can in the same time the most accurate way. They need also to learn how to learn the information they look for not just copy it and paste it.
    My children are in grade 3 and whenever I asked them to make a research. Even the simplest things like getting the meaning of an idiom from the internet, some of them would not do it because their parents wouldn't let them. Or some will do it by just copying the information pasting it in a word document and then print it. Some other students parents would do that Research themselves, print it and give it to the student without even the presence of the student. And very small amount of students would do it the way it should be done. That's why I believe that parents are very important in the learning process using technology.

  2. When I learnt about the learning styles before, it made more sense to me why some people are very good at something. We used to call it a talent or being smart at a certain subject, but it's rather the way the person absorbs the information faster. Still I believe that there's no such a one kind of learning style for each person. A student can learn better by a mixture of more than one learning style combined. I believe that each student only has different percentages of learning styles than the other. So the more the teacher varies the activities or the way she teaches her students, the more they understand and learn. I appreciate technology because it makes it easier for the teacher to reach each and every student. But still the teacher need to be well aware of how to use this technology to reach the different learning styles in her classroom.
    I used to look for some songs, videos or ready-made charts to use in my sessions. But I've learned last time that there are certain websites and applications that we can use to make our own songs to go with the lessons. This is very interesting, because technology wasn't the main objective of the lesson, but still it helped the teacher, as well as the students, a lot to achieve her objective by reaching the different kinds of learning styles in her classroom.

  5. It was really a beneficial experience searching the useful applications that we can use teaching our children. They can make our life easier in class but I believe they need a lot of studying and preparing to get the outcome we need. I like those applications that we can use to let the students study at home in a fun way. And those tutorials that we can make to send our kids home in case they have missed the class or they didn't really get the idea of the lesson. Yet there are a lot about technology I need to explore and understand. Having all these different kinds of useful applications and websites can not be explored and studied over few weeks. I think we should have explored these websites since the very first session in semester. Like every session we could dig deep in one of the applications and attaching the tutorial for it. Then the assignment in this case would be to use this application in one of our lessons according to the subject we teach. I also wanted to learn about using technology to help students with learning disabilities if this is possible. I was very interested in the gamification session and wanted to learn more about using this kind of technology with my kids.
    Despite all of these technologyical tools that are out there, I still believe it's not a good thing for a teacher to depend on technology all the time. It can be an extra support or a fun way to help the teacher deliver her lesson or concept. It's only the teacher's tool to make her students life easier.
